Our global educational programs span the entire schooling cycle, from elementary to higher level, helping children to fulfill their potential and become active contributors to society.
The programs are named after Roberto Rocca, one of the founders of the Techint Group, who believed that education plays a vital role in people’s development and that there must be synergy between industrial culture and technical education.
The Roberto Rocca Technical Schools educate high school students from our communities leveraging innovative teaching through the responsible use of technology, state-of-the art labs and project-based learning methodology.
The first school was born in Campana, Argentina, in 2013, offering specializations in electronics and electromechanics and currently for more than 444 students, all of whom are wholly or partially funded. The second school opened in 2016 in Pesquería, Mexico, with our sister company, Ternium.
A third school is being built in Santa Cruz, Brazil, for 576 students.
Launched in 2006, the Roberto Rocca Technical Gene program provides schools with infrastructure and equipment, student and teacher training, and on-the-job internships for high-school students.
Non-formal program of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) and Art, with the aim of achieving integral development, basic literacy and socio-emotional skills in children and young people from 6 to 15 years old.
Company employees work together with community members to refurbish public schools by improving infrastructure, repairing equipment and repainting buildings.
